By utilizing the GDPR Deletion Notice Email app, you can ensure that your contact deletion processes align with the strict regulations set by GDPR. With this app, you can effectively manage the deletion of contacts in a secure and transparent manner, providing your customers with the peace of mind that their data is being handled responsibly.
Customize your deletion notification email
1. Click on the “Manage settings” button in Settings -> Integrations -> Connected Apps -> General Settings to design your e-mail.
2. In "Step 1", enter the sender's name and confirm the email address setting.
3. In “Step 2”, you can start customizing your email by uploading your logo.
4. In “Step 3”, insert the email subject and the email body text. It is recommended to send yourself a test email to check that the text and the layout are correct. Click the “Save and activate app” button to save all your changes and start using your app in the CRM.
GDPR-compliant contact deletion
5. Once the app is set up and activated, a brand new CRM card will be visible in the right sidebar of the contact page, as seen in the screenshot below. By clicking the “Delete and notify contact” button, you can delete your contacts in compliance with the GDPR regulations and automatically send them the new customized deletion email created earlier.
6. Click the “Delete forever” button to definitely delete contact and send him the deletion email.
